tokens and spheres
Two sentences, one illustration- just what is possible with these limited ingredients? As it turns out, a multiverse of micro fiction: one of kaiju, dinosaurs, superhero goats, and warpings of space-time- one that celebrates the strength, beauty, and flaws of the queer, sensitive, and neurodiverse.
tokens and spheres is a queer-themed, natural history-based, science fantasy short story blog for teens and young adults. I started t&s out of a desire to write stories, build worlds, and test ideas I was not yet able to explore and write in a longer format. I had a tendency at the time to be carried away by new ideas- and before I knew it, they would become too long and complicated to execute while working on pre-existing projects. I use a simple formula with countless possibilities: a story of two sentences, accompanied by one of my best illustrations. New episodes publish on the last day of the month.
The first volume of twenty t&s stories is available on Lulu.com.
